Normally, one needs the ORIGINAL KEY to make a DUPLICATE.
You're going to have to go through the dealership.
You're going to have to go through the dealership.

YOu will need to get a key made from the VIN. Like $140 at the dealership.

Bring your paperwork and id to the dealership along with the vin number

A make of behicle would be nice, but I can tell you that you need. To go to the dealerahip with title or registration in hand. Take a valid. Drivera license with you, the name and address will have to match the title or regis. Might have to have it towed, if the key has to be learned. Make, model and year would help.

Yep. Give them your vin number and they'll make you a new set. It's probably gonna be a couple hundred bucks.

My daughters boyfriend lost his for a couple of days. They were in the laundry. I once found my keys in a Kleenex box. Just a couple of suggestions.

Skip the dealership, they will 'order the key' not make it. It will be 2/3 days for them to get you driving.
You need a mobile locksmith. With the same info you would give the dealership, the locksmith can make you several new keys within 2 hours of showing up. It will cost $350-$500 but you will be on the road by noon tomorrow.

This is not true.
I went to the Toyota dealer and they made a new key on the spot for my Tacoma. If I remember correctly it was 12 dollars in 2005.
If you have some fancy push button starter, you might want to prepare your anus.

Now that that's out of the way, what kind of truck is it? Does it have keys with a transponder in it? Call Pop-A-Lock first before you go to the dealership. They may be able to make you one for a lot less.
ETA: If you lost your keys while you're traveling, disregard the idiot comment and accept my sincere apologie.
