What I learned by lurking a Fulham forum: Felix is interested in bringing in Granit Xhaka.

Tunnicliffe and Cole
Was wondering what was the deal with them. I thought Tunnicliffe would be a good option for the Championship, but apparently Felix doesn't think much of him.

Well damn. Magath was not kidding when he said the younger guys were going to play more.

Methinks this may actually be a 5-3-2:

I think that's right except I think David will be in front of Parker and Hyndman.
Felix hasn't really been playing with wingers so I'm not shocked by this. Staflyidis and Hoogland have to get forward.
Pretty surprised about Hyndman though. And I figured Voser would be the right back.

Bench: Bettinelli, Eisfeld, Fortheringham (?), Woodrow, Roddallega, Roberts, Burn.
Not sure exactly what we'd do if one of the fullbacks picked up an injury.

I've read Bodurov is somewhat capable as a right back if need be. But for the only defender on the bench to be a CD (Burn) is a bit odd.

If we're playing 3 at the back I guess it makes sense to have a backup CB. But I would prefer to have another defender as well.
If Voser's good (he may be hurt or Hoogland just may be clear first choice RB) then it would be nice to have Hoogland off the bench as he could cover RB and CM.

Shitty goal to give up. Not good from Hutchinson but if Burgess is going to sit in front of the back four he can't be that out of position.
Not Joronen's fault but seriously stop hoofing it to no one.
Shitty half, shitty streams.
Hyndman's long passing is excellent.

Hyndman is a fricking stud.
Also, where can I find a replay/download of this game?

The positives: Hyndman, Bodurov, Hoogland, Roberts
The negatives: Hutchinson was abysmal. Not very impressed by Burgess although he was out of position.
I'm trying not to overreact too much on the basis of one game. Hutchinson may end up being good.
McCormack and Dembele weren't good, but it's just one game. The only thing that really concerned me was how completely out of his depth Hutchinson looked. Hopefully it was just nerves and a bad game.

It seems Fulham will be uploading replays of their games somewhere.

Let me know if you find out where. Wanna check out Hyndman.

For all the talk of our lack of midfield talent, it was the best aspect of the game today. The wing backs did what I expected, though I still prefer Voser over Hoogland over the admittedly small sample size we have.
Hyndman was fantastic. A great opening salvo in what is hopefully a lot of first-team football this season.
I have a hunch Ross isn't quite match fit yet for whatever reason. Dembélé is still raw in some aspects, but the talent is there. We'll see some more of Woodrow soon I believe.
But yeah, Hutch was shockingly bad. I expect him to be a stalwart in the center of defense and he was dreadful.
Plenty of positives to take into the Millwall game, and fortunately we have several defensive options to work this out in front of Joronen.

Everything feels right in the world now that there's an American starting for Fulham again.

So Brave what did most people think the chance of Hyndman starting was before Saturday? Making the bench? I didn't follow their preseason.

Magath heavily featured the babies in the preseason, including Hyndman. So there was always the chance he would get first-team action, but figured Felix would go with some more proven players.
However, he once again relied heavily on the kids, who for the most part played very well.
