This is more or less an entry level Analyst position, so I don't think there's much room to counter.
My degree is in Finance.

I would definitely make the move. You're still young, just do it. It sounds like an awesome experience. Most of he people telling you not to move are probably small town mindset people who will never live 50 miles away from where they grew up.
