A tweet that Jimmy favorited. Might be nothing, but still.
Ohhhhh. I don't have twitter
Eh it's probably nothing. He's allowed to be bummed out it didnt go his way....but I think he enjoys being a Saint.

When he can out run a line backer, maybe they can reconsider his tight end status! He's not a wide receiver!

Jimmy killed a baby seal then beat a kid in a wheelchair with it.
F@ck you Jimmy.
Lets trade him for Adrian Peterson and move on.

Jimmy is not mad at the organization. If anything he wants to be on the field as soon as possible. He better have a deal in the next two weeks or he wont be playing at all.
It's stupid to think Jimmy has bitterness towards an organization that has made him a top in the league. It's all on his agent now.

I'll repeat what Moscano just said: it's insane to think that Jimmy would turn down 7 million and sit out a year not getting paid.

He's tagged.
He's playing under it or a new contract

Exactly he's not turning down money. Same thing happen with Brees. It got done just before the deadline.
Well he doesn't have to play under the tag if they dont extend his contract. He could sit out the whole season but that's highly unlikely.

Absolutely 0 chance JG holds out and doesn't play for the tag. You on have so many earning years in a sport without guaranteed contracts and he's already entering his late 20s.
You don't leave 7+M on the table.

Well he probably is because they haven't given him the money he wants but when they give him close enough he'll get over it.
Posted on 7/2/14 at 4:49 pm to TigerBait1127
Exactly, what are the rules on the 2nd year? Like 125% of last years tag right?
Posted on 7/2/14 at 4:50 pm to saintsfan22
He's going to get his money just like Brees got his.
Remember the Saints didnt make this ruling. So there shouldn't be hard feelings. They'll work out a deal by the end of next week.

I'm sure Loomis had a solution for each outcome figured out before Jimmy was even born.

Graham has every incentive to sign a long term deal.
If he plays under the franchise tag, and he re-injures his foot he won't sniff the money he could get now.

1. He signs and plays under the tag,
2. A new contract is signed and he plays, or
3. He sits out and misses $7M (+) in paychecks.
Who really sees him sitting out?

Jeez. Melvin.
You rolled your eyes at his comment when you could have been laughing at mine.
