We dominate the winter and summer olympics. We own basketball globally. Have the best baseball league in the world. We can't be awesome at everything.

The rest of the world judges each other by soccer maybe, but not the US. It was a nice run, but it's not going to happen overnight in America.

And the space race has no business in a comparison with soccer.

the rest of the world doesn't give a crap about those sports for the most part, especially not in comparison to soccer.

Well, we lose most of the time when our MLB all star team plays the Japanese. And the Japanese have long dominated little league.
