What the hell is a baw? I don't ever bash people on TD. I try to keep my head cool and get along...but you're a complete dumbass.

Exactly. Coach K basically has his pick of all of the division 2 college basketball teams in the country to field a team to play against the Miami Heat every single game. The U.S. is fielding its 5th rate athletes against the world's elite.
However, with that being said, poor fundamentals, not measurables was the difference with this team. Passing and ball control was sloppy in every game. There is no reason why Belgium, or any other team for that matter, should be able to get that many shots on goal against you in a match. I don't know how Coach K could possibly improve this with the schedule he gets to work with, but this has to be their focus going forward.

So how come Columbia and costs rica have great fundamentals? Are they more talented?
Posted on 7/1/14 at 9:00 pm to OutofTownAlumni
Yes Colombia is actually extremely talented. Costa Rica is playing above their heads right now and have had very favorable matchups.
But you wouldn't understand because those are third world countries. I mean... blue jeans, a cheeseburger, in a Chevy screaming 'Murica.' Amirite?!
Accept it. You asked a question. There has been a resounding answer from people who you have admitted know more about the subject than you do.... Why do you keep asking? If you can't suggest an alternative (you obviously can't because you are an ignorant retard), then STFU.

Better talent has access to better leagues and better coaching.
However, you are making my point that some how, the focus must be made on coaching fundamentals. We cannot just keep making excuses.

He signed a contract extension in Dec 2013 for 4 more years. Yes, he will be back.

Accept it. You have a below average IQ. We all know the first step is denial. You'll be forgiven. Acceptance.... Work on it.

He took a team that lost it's main attacking threat and got out of the toughest group in the tournament. He had to rework his entire strategy after Jozy went down. If he isn't retained until the next WC the US is making a huge mistake.
Was it really the toughest group? Y'all hated on Belgium's group, saying it was the weakest one, and not only did Belgium beat the US, but Algeria put up more of a fight against Germany than the US did.
But, yeah, Klinns is coming back. He did a great job.

Was it really the toughest group?
Yes. Absolutely. The margin between the group winner and the last place team was the closest of any group. All four teams had the talent and potential to make runs in the knockout stage.
Clarify: not talking about points margin, but the teams' talent

This. Some of the other groups were scrubs.
Posted on 7/1/14 at 9:17 pm to kingbob
All four of the teams in our group were better than Russia and S. Korea. That was the difference.

I want him back, but JK got the tactics wrong tonight, he should have stuck with Beckerman and played counter football.
Belgium has greater individual talent than Germany.
Also we should have droped Zusi who did nothing all W.C. and played DEMPS at his normal position and added a forward to start the game, once Wondo came in and DEMPS got back into his normal position we played better.
DEMPS, missed a pass at the 80TH minute to the left in the box and instead shot from just outside the box, forgot who was in on goal.
On the free kick where DEMPS almost scores, WONDO passed him the ball, came in and STOOD AROUND instead of following up the shot, GREEN did the same on the right side ( left of goalie ) BOTH would have a tap in if they followed DEMPS in the whole.
Bradley played like he normally does the last 15 minutes, JK had him playing out of position and thinking too much instead of just playing.
Donovon would have helped us on some of those fast breaks where we always seemed to make the wrong pass, DONOVON over BRAD DAVIS.
