I'd kill the cape and eat it.
You have to make that poaching culture as well as activist realize that allowing hunters to pay extraordinary amounts of money to hunt these animals does more for the community as a whole than poaching for ivory alone.
Poachers will poach to get paid, so why not turn the table and pay them to guide rather than poach. The animal has to be seen as valuable enough alive not to poach and paid hunts is a way to do that.
One of my wildlife vets I used to work for shared that sentiment with me. i agreed.

I have no desire to hunt African game, but if someone else enjoys it, then I'm happy for them.

I'm all about the Cape Buffalo hunt after reading Robert Ruark and Peter Capstick when I was younger. Probably #1 on my hunting bucket list. It's a member of the Big 5 Dangerous Game animals and its population numbers are stable unlike the rest of the list.
That said, those in the rest of the pics wouldnt trip my trigger. Like another poster mentioned, she's got at least $100,000 in game animals in those few pics...
