Don't you love how soccer fans pretend it's some sort of rocket science sport that the rest of us couldn't possibly understand? Or that sensible rule changes are stupid and the people who propose them for consideration are stupid not because they wouldn't work but merely because they're not traditional?
I sincerely want a new sport to love. These summers without football are brutally long. Soccer would be great with just a few tweaks to make it a 3-2 sport with sensible refereeing and timekeeping, instead of a 1-0 sport that relies too much on refereeing and set pieces for outcomes.

It is a little offensive to hear someone else say that a sport you love should change so that it is more entertaining for them. Just saying.
