prospects....about the only way to get talent to Milwaulkee, because they certainly aren't getting anyone in free agency.

Dont disagree, but i'd say Brooklyn would be a much more desirable location than Milwaukee for FA.

I don't really understand why all the hate for Kidd. I mean I could see it if you are a Nets fan but other than that I don't understand why everybody's so damn butthurt.
Kidd knows exactly what's about to happen in Brooklyn. They're about to take a hard nose dive. They're cap space is fricked and they aren't getting any better. I thought he did a pretty good job with a average team this year.
He played all the right cards and made his way to a Milwaukee team that is young and has a lot of upside (can't believe I just typed that).
The only thing he really fricked up is what all of you have alluded to in reference to coaching being a fraternity and I do kind of feel bad for Larry Drew. That being said, it is a business and not a charity case. If the Bucks like Kidd more than Drew they have every right to fire him. He'll still be getting a check so it's not like we should all feel that sorry for him (and he'll most likely land another gig soon, whether it be a HC or AC).

Well they won't be doing a lot of that any time soon.

Why you so mad, brah? Kidd sleep with your wife?

Lost in this is violation of coach's code: You don't pursue job belonging to someone else. Humiliating end for Larry Drew. Kidd's shameless
Why not? People do this all the time in the real world. Somehow sports and tv are supposed to be immune to this.

Why would you think I'm mad? I really don't care about the situation at all. Just commenting.
Its all pretty amusing, really.

Neither team is going to do anything in the post season no matter who their coach is.

I agree totally. Coaches and front office personnel know when there's new ownership chances are they'll be out of a job soon. Also, Kidd did the best thing for him.
If you can go get a raise and get more power in a new position the vast majority of people will make that move. Congratulations, J. Kidd.

Kidd is a tPOS wife beater though

Sorry, but I can't find it in me to feel sorry for Larry Drew, at all. The man won like all of 10 games last year. In a league where coaches get fired and not rehired after going to the playoffs. Its hard to really justify Drew keeping his job.

Jason Kidd is asking for permission from the Nets organization to bring over Nets assistant coach Eric Hughes with him to Milwaukee, according to a source of Yahoo! Sports.
Wow, that's a bold move by Kidd to ask the Nets for anything following his publicized fallout with the organization. Another interesting part of the deal that sent Kidd to Milwaukee is that the Nets and Bucks are forbidden from making a trade with each other during the 2014-15 season. It will be interesting to see if the Nets give into Kidd's final wishes.

If he had played all the right cards, the Nets would have given him more control of the team.
