Where are the best prices?

Check ebay, somehow a bunch of perfectly fine used tires with plenty of tread make it on there.

I have a whole lot of experience with this one.
TireRack is great but! They have a warehouse in Louisiana and therefore charge tax to La. Residents plus shipping. If you're in Shreveport you can just go pick them up.
Discount Tire Direct equals no tax, no shipping costs for anyone.
Go to both sites, find tires, price out total, buy cheapest. Also don't forget sometimes one of them has a debit card or other incentive to purchase from them look for it.
I'm serious when I say this tell me your car and what kind of driving you do and I will look. I do it all the time .
I always look for tread life, tire noise(low), ride. Even on my sports cars, who cares if you can slalom a tenth quicker, but they wear out in a week and sound like gumbo mudders.

Do you want tires that are cheap or inexpensive?

I honestly haven't found that much difference in prices...I usually use the online sites to pick out what I want, but invariably can find them locally for around the same price after installation...

Costco

Spend your $50-60 for a membership and save 200 (or more) on your tires.

2005 GMC Sierra Pickup...In the market...Best bang for my buck all terrains! Thanks

Kuhmo Sense $60 a piece. Good reviews and ride quality good warranty. I've had Kuhmos and they were fine. If you want to go upmarket the Yokohama Avid series at 88 bucks are so are very good as well.

The last set I bought, the Ford dealer had the best price.

Continental lx20 cross contact. Good price, more a road tire than off-road, good ride and ratings for wear.

I need a new set as well. 2001 Acura TL. City driving.
I've had kuhmos in the past and they've been solid. What's your opinion
