It's abundantly clear that many on this board are shitty friends.
Make fun of the term bro code. That's fine, I can rephrase, you're breaking basic rules of friendship and trust. I've seen many people divorce and 1 of 2 things is usually true
1-both party's are psychos that hate each other and it's a bad idea to bang one of em or
2-the pain of the divorce is still very raw and real.
Consider this, by banging her you're that guy who was the "revenge" sex. Ya know the one that she says "he broke my heart so I fricked his friends." If you still say "doesn't matter had sex" that speaks volumes to your character and maturity.
There's no scenario where this isn't not only trashy as hell but also selfish.

Whether it's 2 weeks or 2 years, the ex wife is off limits. I would never do this and I would not want my good friend doing this to me.

Most of the posters here think a bro code is something that is eternal. Life will show you that a person only has a limited few "real friends". Some of the asshats you hang with in college will never be seen after graduation/ drop out/ jail term, etc.
To me, would I frick a real friend's ex wife? The answer is not even up for discussion. Would I give a college friend from ten years ago's ex wife the most filling 8" after two strokes, without a doubt if my situation were different.
I'm happily married and don't foresee myself getting divorced anytime soon, so this is merely hypothetical. I married an old friend's ex girlfriend, btw. He sucks as a person and sucked as a friend ten years ago, so not a single frick was given the day she seduced me. The rest is history.
