Alabama has had by far the easiest schedule over the past three seasons. The total wins of their SEC East opponents is 29. Whereas, Arkansas' SEC East opponents have entered the season with 58 total wins. Auburn and LSU had the second and third toughest SEC East schedules with 52 and 47 wins, respectively. For those who say, "just beat the teams on your schedule", can you blame Arkansas for complaining when their two SEC East opponents have won twice as many games as Alabama's over the past three seasons. Keep in mind every SEC team is being held to the same standard. But how could this be, when the schedule is as unbalanced as it is. There has to be a change.

Until we get some football, I don't mind beating a dead horse a few more times. Lol!

Going by last year's records, we actually have the easiest East schedule of anyone this year. Schedules are now set through 2025, and who knows how strong teams will be by then? Once Tennessee improves, a lot of these schedule complaints should stop.

Trust me. I am happy to see UT raking in good recruits. The just might get the big-time QB from Florida that Cameron is high on.

Sorry to break this to ya my friend but you will see no change as long as sec offices are in Birmingham

Yeah we've heard this for about the last 10 yrs. and even when Tenn is good, Florida is still tougher. Its bullshite but what the hell.

Look. Bama is lucky that Tennessee's decline happened at the same time as their rise. A good Tennessee will give Bama a loss every other year. Add that they'll be going against top teams like Auburn, us, and TAMU yearly, the scheduling should just about even out. Everybody in the East and Bama benefitted from Tennessee's decline. Expect things to blanc out in two years.

Schedule...we talking about schedules. We supposed to be the best team in the SEC, and you talking about schedule...Allen Iverson.

The SEC could go to a scheduling system that gives teams that were better the previous season a harder schedule and teams that were worse an easier schedule, but that would end many traditional rivalries and make the East-West divisional scheme problematic.
The SEC has a long history of unequal schedules. You had SEC champs who played only 6 or 7 conference games in a 12 or 10 team conference and teams always used to play the same teams. LSU would always play Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss. State and Florida and hardly ever play Georgia, Tennessee and Vandy.

Looks like auburn and Arkansas should get a lawyer and sue.
Stop bitching. This combination of bama cession and perpetual "everyone hates LSU "is sickening.

It's pretty screwing. When you're competing for the same conference title, your schedules should be somewhat equal. Arkansas' SECE opponents have twice as many wins as Bama's. It is more likely that Arkansas will have two more loses than Bama.

So you don't see anything wrong with the scheduling? Wow.

Historically in the SEC Tennessee is much better than all but Florida and somewhat even with Georgia. While I disagree with the permanent opponent, it's not their fault Tennessee sucks right now. So quit bitching about it.

If any changes were made if like to see the SEC handle it like the NFL does.. Your previous season's record influences the teams you play the following season

it's because all the (valid) bitching and complaining could no longer go unheard.
no doubt. squeaky wheel. shame it had to come to that.
edit: funny it works out where its a year where most sec teams are starting new qb's and will probably cannibalize each other.

Just a question.
When everything evens out in the next five years, and we (LSU) are on the beneficial end, will you be clamoring for fairness then? Nope. Get it?
