I've been looking at them and damn they won't come off sticker very much. If you have bought one recently how much did you get off sticker and are there any OT hookups

Good friend of mine bought one recently. Don't know what he paid but it's nice.

That's because they don't have to. Those things sell themselves right now.

Like what? I've had my 2001 JGC for 6 years now, no major problems.

I have a Limited 2014. There are some things I like, others I don't.
the biggest thing I do not like is the entertainment system. It boots pretty slow. Do not like that.
Also, when my IPhone is sync'd to the system, the system will randomly reboot! This only happens when I am talking to someone else with an iPhone... strange....
Amenities are nice, rides well... It is a heavy vehicle so in the city its a gas hog!
What else ya wanna know?

If they still make them like they used to, they're absolute workhorses.
I got a used 2004 JGC with 21k miles on it back in 2007.
Still driving it today and have only needed to put about $1000 into it over the past 7 years.
Only real problem I've had with it is the electrical system (power windows and locks) but that's not really a big deal to me.

Something similar happens in my Jeep Unlimited. It will sometimes freeze up when I try to sync my phone.

I just got the 2014 overland edition.
Pretty much spot on with the entertainment system but its not that big of a deal to me.
Gas mileage is pretty good and its got a rather large tank too. I can get close to 500 miles a tank.

As mentioned, they won't budge off of MSRP because they really don't have to.
Surprised at some of you saying there are issues with the infotainment system. I admit, I've yet to use it...but the Uconnect system is usually one of the things media reviews rave about. It's supposed to be one of the better systems available on the market.

I cannot compare it to "other" systems....
Over all I do find it easy to use... and my "issue" of the longish boot time may not be an issue for someone else...
The phone issue on the other hand is just strange.

Well I don't know if the issue is the system or my phone really. I've looked online and it suggested I update my phone and then unconnect and then reconnect my phone to the system(through the phone's Bluetooth settings). Once I did that it stopped doing it.
Course...I just did another update on my phone so may need to redo that process again with my jeep.
Otherwise I love the Uconnect

I've got them down to $3320 so far off sticker. Anybody do better than that?
Posted on 6/24/14 at 9:43 pm to jordan21210
I can''t stress this enough be willing to drive to get your car. I bought a jku Sahara a year ago for 6500.00 less than what I could get local. I used the internet to find it. I also shopped for GC where I bought my jku they were about 4500.00 off sticker on the GC. So yes dealers will come off you just have to find the right one.

I got 4k off sticker for my Jeep Unlimited Sahara and consider that a great deal. I think the fact that it was a holiday weekend at the end of the month and the dealership was dead that day played into my favor.

Got a 2014 GC Overland last week, had to drive to houston to get it bc the dealers in the Acadiana area couldnt even trade for a white one. we just cut the local dealers out and drove there, great experience and they took off more than we expected. clearlake dodge, outside of houston
