I am about a 20 handicap and have been playing Nike Slingshots for years. What are some good game improvement irons I should look at?

I just bought a set of Ping G20s, and they are fantastic.

honestly there is a guy selling some Burner 2.0's. I'm in the same game as you and I bought mine a year ago and love them. He said he's only used them about 5 times. Might be worth a look.

Any thing by Adams golf is going to be a good choice.

Those 2.0's would be a good club for you if the price is right

I like to check rockbottomgolf for late model clubs that have over stock they are trying to sell

Ping G30s will be out pretty soon. G25s are good sticks, I play them.

I'd also check out the Mizuno EZ. The EZ forged irons are sweet.

You should probably tell us your price range for an iron set

I am the one with the 2.0's they are talking about. I've used them about 5 times. I am willing to sell them for $200 if you are interested. I am going to post pictures of them tonight in the other thread I started.

I grew up playing Titleist and Callaway irons while learning the game. I personally have no experience with brands outside of those.

I have heard around the community/putting green talk that you don't want to dive into Taylormade irons, TM woods are fantastic though.

Callaway's are very forgiving from my experience. I hit Titleist CB 712s now and I love them.

I would say look into Callaway sets, hit a few and see what you like!

Go to a golf store and try out the 7 iron from 5-10 different sets. Buy the brand that feel the best from an online retailer.

Nobody will give Wilson Staff a fair shake b/c of lack of marketing, but their D100 line is great. If you're a value shopper, easily under $400 for irons. Silver on the Golf Digest Hot List, but only because the "demand" category scored low. Performance was up there with the big brands.
