LSU adding women's sand volleyball may have been a necessary step needed to create another men's sport??

The SEC doesn't even sponsor men's soccer, Kentucky and South Carolina are the only schools with a team. We just added sand volleyball for women, so maybe we can add a men's sport to go with it?

Yes. Their season overlaps with the wrestling and men's gymnastics seasons, so they don't get much press...

Damn you Skillet. The World Cup can't end soon enough. This shite is out of control.

Here are the only Mens Sports sponsored by the SEC.

Baseball
Basketball
Cross Country
Football
Golf
Swimming & Diving
Tennis
Track & Field (Indoor)
Track & Field (Outdoor)

Side note: Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the US. I can see this happening before soccer for a lot of schools. It's very popular in the Northeast already.

NCAA soccer is not good for US soccer anyway. If the best players spend any time in NCAA soccer, which they currently do, it sets them back 4 years compared to our international competition.

NCAA doesn't play by FIFA rules (unlimited subs is a pretty huge difference), majorly limits practice time, has a very limited schedule and prevents our best players from playing in the best dev leagues during breaks in the NCAA schedule.

It's fine if our best players do not play in it, but that's not going to be the case until our domestic league gets stronger and their development academies increase in stature. Until then, the NCAA is a hinderance to the end goal of producing the best national team possible.

I have no clue but I'll sure be glad when this World Cup shite comes to end .

At this point it's beyond annoying.

It's soccer. Other than a few days every four years, no one cares.
