Winchester, thanks for the tip. I'll share that info with my academic coach, whose handling this with me.
Glad you avoided 752. It totally blindsided me. From what I'd read about 752 in the past I was given the impression it was a pretty straightforward class. Hasn't turned out that way. Oh well, 4 weeks down and 3 to go so on the home stretch!

i took 752 in 2015 with knotts, way easier then. idk why it is a bad as it is now

wolfpack, I'm guessing back in 2015 the textbook wasn't on Mindtap. It's these weird multiple choice questions that are the biggest issue.

Same here. Took 752 last July and it was a breeze. Made a 97%.

Paul, I remember you sharing that 752 was a breeze so I was expecting it to go smoothly. I earned 96% and above in MKT and MADM 701 so assumed 752 would be easier. Instead, it's been a slog. I thought maybe it was just me but I've heard from at least 6 other classmates who are feeling the same way.
Three weeks to go so just grinding it out. Trying for an A but may have to settle for a B.

no. it was some family business book with a few clips from the tv show the profit
Posted on 6/3/17 at 11:58 am to wolfpack714
Marcus Lemonis is.....the profit. I used to love watching those clips and taking the test afterwards. 751 was more interesting in my opinion.
Socal, ain't nothing wrong with a B. I strived to make all B's

i hate when instructors use a 3rd party to facilitate the course... mindtap sucks, and cenage sucks

That's the future trajectory of the program in my opinion. They're all going to these cengage type deals.

Just took the MKT Midterm extra credit and Chapter 6 quizzes. Neither were too bad. Didn't do as well on Chapt 6 as I did on the previous 2 quizzes but still pulled an A. I thought at least 2 of the MC questions had more than 1 current answer. Pulled the text out right after and confirmed.

Agreed Paul Allen. They all appear to be going to proctoring also... stressing accreditation concerns. I imagine Vines will be the last holdout.

Nolamom, I just completed the Mindtap quiz for Module 4 of 752. Happy to come away with an 80%. I'm VERY impressed you were able to earn 100% on this.

Looks like a light week in MKT701 this week.

Don't be too impressed with last week's 100 on the MADM752 quiz.
This week I studied for hours, read both chapters twice, took insanely detailed notes and watched the videos and took notes on those. Got a 73.3.
To track my projected final grade, I've built an Excel worksheet to put in estimated remaining scores. Let me know if you want a copy.

I just took the quiz and got a 53.3% :( It doesn't matter how much I read or study, I still get about the same grade every time. I just can't believe she won't listen to all the students telling her how horrible the quiz is. At least i'm getting 100's on the discussions to make up for it.

Nolamom and brazilianprincess, I feel the same way! What's frustrating too is that people said this course was straightforward and one of the easier courses in the program. It appears once she introduced the Mindtap textbook it got tough.
I know I am beating it to death but it's the bleeping wording of the questions. They are not clear.
There has to be many of us in the same boat. I wonder if this is why some professors don't have a group forum within the class so we could share this info together. It would be nice to know what all our other classmates are feeling.

Aurebelman, thanks for the tips for MADM701. I took your advice and ditched the videos and slides and focused on reading the chapters 3-4 times and just made a 92 on module 5 test

Awesome! I'm taking mine tomorrow.
Did you see where she gave us some points on the previous exams? My grades were adjusted 2-4 points. I suppose some of the questions were programmed incorrectly?
