751 is the same thing. This is killing me time wise. The class is really interesting, but the time required for all this writing and the group work is immense.

Ideas on how to manage these are greatly appreciated.

You are right about that I wanted to pull my hair out completing the skill builder. Where did he come up with some of the questions? Also, did any of you get your week 1 quiz manually adjusted by Meeks for a score above the possible 20?

I have heard that Finance 701 and Economics 705 are the most difficult.

As for as Meeks and his Skill Builders... I would just relate the topics to issues at any of my employers or industries. It helped make the words flow easier. I'm not sure how much he even reads them. No matter how poor or great I thought my work was, I always got pretty much the same score. Just be sure to hit the word count plus some.

As far as his adjusting the quizzes to greater than 100%. Yes he does that for all of them.

MondayAMQB my quiz 1 score was marked as 60 out of 20, as were my group members quizzes. I don't know why he did that unless it is to account for the introduction stuff (post, video, word document) that he had us do the first week.

And yeah the skill builder stuff sucks! I wrote 700 words for my first answer and i still don't feel like i answered it very well. I would be surprised if he graded very thoroughly though.

Brent and winchester, thanks a bunch for the info. winchester that was the only thing I can think of as well for the quiz grade being a 60 out of 20.

Paul Allen, just finished test 1. Made a 92! Lots of similar questions to practice problems. Good luck

Has anyone tackled Vines 730 exam yet?

I took it this morning. Had one problem I wasn't sure how to answer... hopefully I'll get some partial credit. Overall I had 3 problems 7 short essay. Most of the writing questions were simply defining terms and concepts.

Awesome! How many total questions? Did you need the full 210 minutes? Are you referring to the 8 practice exam problems that he gave us on Monday?

25 questions. Nah I had about an hour and 15 minutes left. Yes the ones he gave us with the solutions and a few from the textbook.

Just aced the Hayati's test (100!). It wasn't bad, took me a little over an hour. As others have said, questions are similar to the practice and some come directly from there. Be sure to pay attention to the per year/day type questions.

It wasn't as bad as I expected Paul. I made a 92% very similar to practice test and example problems like previously said. Glad the first one is out the way.

Just wrapped it up with an 88. Yeah, wasn't too bad. I wonder if the final (exam 4) is a compilation of all the material we learned or just the last week or so of material?
