And saying I'd rather need a tie is a statement to the matchup against Portugal. They're missing a couple key players and Ronaldo is might be gimpy, but Dempsey is dealing with a broken nose and Altidore is out. I think a tie is likely

Portugal would still be able to get 4.

Not true. Portugal would have been at 1 point and would have to crush Ghana by 4+ goals to advance.
