Blackberry z10 is cheap on ebay.

By basic features, if you mean talk, text and surf the web, then yes. But it's definitely not comparible to an iphone or any other high end device.
I believe the 520 and 521 are the same phone, just offered by different carriers.

Hell that's all I do on my phone, use my gps to find stuff and take the occasional picture, maybe check the weather. What the hell else could you possibly do on one?

I'm not sure which iphone you have, but if you take a minute to mess around with it you'll find that it can do a lot more.

The screen is super easy to fix. I fixed a 5c for my wife and the screen was destroyed. I think it was 115 or so off of eBay.

Just replaced the screen on my 5 2 days ago. $80 off of Amazon and it worked perfectly. I have an upgrade in 3 months so I can sell this phone for a pretty good amount to help pay for the upgrade.

I've had no case on my iPhone 4 for at least a year and only have one small crack(1/2"ish in size) in the bottom left corner of the phone. Took it off because I was technically ready for my upgrade at that point and figured I might as well use the phone in all it's glory till I needed a new one.
Over a year later I guess I've been lucky, because I drop it frequently enough to assume there would be a lot more damage. I'm slightly sad to be moving away from the iPhone as my 4 has been a beast(and is still kicking quite well), but the Home button is beginning to lag and I'm ready to try something new. Lumia 1020/Windows here I come
