Honestly, the film was the absolute antithesis to Superman Returns. I don't necessarily think that's a good thing since they went ridiculously over-the-top with the action sequences. I don't hate the movie, but I've got lots of issues with it.

This is me as well. I don't hate it, but I didn't think it was very good. And I have lots of problems with it.
It was definitely one of the most disappointing superhero movies ever for me.
