I'm so fricking tired of hearing shite like "they'll have to live with this the rest of their life" or "I can't imagine how sad the parents must feel."

People that do this shite should be held criminally responsible.

Probably true. But what charge? I've known two people to do this. One was a brand new mom in nursing school. She was running late for a test and just behind. Fortunately she parked in the shade in October and the child was seen after about 20-30 minutes. that poor girl was all kind of fricked up.

The second I knew through 2-3 degrees of separation. But heard from people there. She was a nurse or tech who (again) was running late for her shift, and routine was thrown. Father usually brought child to daycare. Mom had to do it this day. She did an entire 7a-3p shift and went outside to find the child. She ran into the ER SCREAMING "He's in rigor!! He's in rigor!!"and holding her stiff baby! It was absolutely horrible for all that were there.

Living is now hell on Earth for this woman. Prison? It's like backing over a child in the driveway?

Dang before y'all comment, at least read up on this particular case. Very, very unlikely that this was one of those kinds of accidents.
