At this point, Harris has no leaders. His plan is to release a top five or six this week, take more visits and announce a commitment before his season opener.
Asked if anyone stood out, he mentioned LSU.
“Me and my dad went there and liked it a lot,” Harris said.

That's a great idea..... Base everything we are going to see for 2014 on the spring game. Stupid.

He has said he wants to commit to a school before he starts his senior year in August. He also said he wants to visit LSU again this summer.

Alabama has turned up the heat on Saint James High School tight end/defensive end Jalen Harris. The Montgomery native has gotten better the last year and seen his profile explode after earing offers from the Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers and Auburn after excelling at each of their camps. He visited Vanderbilt with his parents this past week, then returned to the Capstone for a two-day stay so his father could see the campus and facilities. Heavy speculation had him committing to UA, but he did not give his pledge to the Tide staff despite meeting with Nick Saban, who turned up the heat. He then camped at Auburn on Saturday and earned an offer from AU. Then today he named his five finalists Sunday night as Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Vanderbilt and Miami made the cut. It will likely be an in-state battle with Harris having grown up an Alabama fan and being an almost perfect fit for their offense as an in-line TE. Auburn has been recruiting him hard as well and his position coach at Saint James is former AU TE Phillip Lutzenkirchen. He will likely visit each school again on his list, especially UA, AU, LSU and Vandy. with a decision before his senior season. Expect the UA staff to make him a priority from this point forward.

I will be committing next Tuesday at St. James at 6. Everyone feel free to come, but space may be limited. Thank you.

I thought a few days ago LSU, but Bama is pushing HARD, & I don't think LSU or AU are pushing as hard, so timing makes me think Bama.

We'll be finally utilizing that spot this year. Two top 5 TEs in the last two classes, should give us some great mismatches in the passing game.

WTF??
These TE's must know something we don't. LSU hasn't really used TE's in years.
I didn't see this

I wouldn't be upset if we ran the two TE set in which the TE's actually caught the balls
Stanford does it right

Wouldn't mind seeing a Spider Y Banana package used in the red zone.

I suggest to you that LSU is highly likely to change its use of TEs with Cameron and recent TE recruits here.

He committed to Auburn yesterday

Yep, he's a Damn War Eagle now.
As adaptable as Malzahn is within his system, not a bad choice if you want to stay closer to home.
I'd like to think the TE's that have come into LSU's program over the last two years made him look elsewhere... silver lining type stuff.
