Yep. Best way to get a job is through the backdoor. HR is a formality in the market of desirable positions.

That comes off as douchey. Your resume should follow the same template as everyone else's. If I'm interviewing someone, if I have to see that you're a hot chick or a handsome man and that's supposed to overshadow your qualifications and successes, then I'm not hiring you. You should be hired for your qualifications alone, and it doesn't hurt if someone I know knows you and supports you. It's an indication you'll fit in well with the corporate mentality.

There is no template.

HR is not a decision maker. They are a checkpoint. Obviously you should be qualified, but HR rarely knows who is qualified.

Assume it's a professional on the other end? Not all of us hate women... I bet you're sad you can't hire midgets to just slam women in the vaj.

If you're hiring a girl for a secretary position, are you gonna hire the hot, nice chick who knows how to use Office, or the fugly, bitchy girl who has worked as a secretary for 10 years and can do the same plus a little extra?

Interviewing has nothing to do with a resume.

I've never interviewed and not gotten the job.

I can teach the hot one to use office if she doesn't know how.

I agree, it is your resume that gets you thru the door.
And thankfully it has been the same for me. But at my age if I had to compete with someone much younger & was interviewing with a man I feel the younger candidate would have an advantage .jmo

Depends on the tits. Make sure you're popping your features.

But seriously, you should be competing for jobs that are consummerate with experience and skill level. Thus eliminating younger goldenbadgers.

Many of my classmates and myself interviewed for a summer internship with a company last year. We all interviewed on the same day.

Only the girls got the internship.

Also, all of the recruiters at the job fair for the company were girls. The person that interviewed me was a girl that had been working there for one year. One older dude oversaw all of the recruiters and interviewer. He was also the hiring manager for this internship.

It was quite odd to say the least.

great, and what was my first post?

93 percent of the HR staffers deciding whether to call in someone for an interview were female.

so, knowing that once through the door, you sell yourself....in what ways should you target the "reader" to get the call?

There is a guy who is head of training that only hires girls. Hot married chicks in 20s and early 30s. That's it. You will not get a job with this guy if you're male. Don't even attempt.

This one girl interviewed with me and was cute. No experience. I turned her down. This guy hired her like ASAP.

Your resume may get you the interview but it in no way is dependent on how your interview goes.

Are you having problems? I can get you in touch with someone at tech.
