awesome movie
love how they don't overplay the whole "futuristic" aspect of it. It just feels normal
SPOILERS
Like how they didnt make his character all nerdy and nonsocial. He was by all accounts, a normal dude. Just in a tough spot and lonely, but def wasn't creepy and had normal interpersonal relationships. Much easier to identify with him
really like how the OS left him and not the other way around. They could have done the "hollywood" deal and had him realize the OS could never substitute a human and have him get with amy adams. Instead they did something different and left the ending ambiguous

I enjoyed it a lot, that kid he played the video game with was frickin hilarious. I wish my phone would find me a sex surrogate like that.

Who would have thought a character in a movie could be so damn sexy without evee seeing said character?
Also... how hot was Olivia Wylde?

The sex surrogate part was awesome. That girl was perfect. I kept saying, "hey, give him his mole back."

*spoilers*
I didn't like the explanation Samantha gave of where she was going. "The space between the words?"
Other than that I liked it.

I wonder what kind of class action lawsuit the OS provider faced after they all left?
Pheonix did a great job in the movie. Probably deserved a little more recognition.

I didn't care for it, to be honest. It started off strong and had my attention, but after an hour or so of listening to him talk to Samantha it just got monotone and boring for me. I thought his character was sorta strange and creepy to be honest.

Once you see the world it takes place in, the concept is not as weird as it sounds.
Exactly, I thought it would be dumb, buy gave it a chance on a plane and it was one of the better movies I've ever seen. Very well done.

I agree. They could've made him a smidge less creepy.

I think a character that falls inlove with an OS has to be a little creepy and socially awkward.

Yeah, he was a bit, but in order for this story to work, he couldn't have been a lady's man.

The problem is, he was hooking up with nice pieces of arse. Olivia Wilde is no slouch. If I was her and walked in and saw that child molester-looking dude sitting there, I would've hightailed it in the other direction.
