She's a strong black woman.
Selma
Hey yeah. Selma. I've sort of heard of that. It was about turbulence and the sixties and race and YEAH!

That's right, because strong black women threaten your patriarchal white man system. Black people have to ceaselessly point this out. The Asians don't. Middle easterners don't. Indians, Irish and Pan Pacific Islanders don't. Just blacks. It's like no one agrees or cares or something.
I swear, whenever Obama does something incredibly stupid, one of these movies gets made.

Can't wait. Hope she gets the voice down.

So Oprah can't be cast in a film without people bitching about it.

Can she be in a movie about something else for a change?

You seem...I don't know...uncomfortably angry about the career choices of a woman you clearly don't like all that much.
Where exactly do you fit into this? I mean, I'm trying hard to not just assume this is some race issue for you, but...um...unless you're just a Oprah fan and you're unhappy with her movie roles, we're sort of running out of reasons for this thread.

Let's slow down and take a look at this...
She's the most powerful woman in entertainment and she can be in pretty much any movie that she chooses.
Would you prefer that she keep to the black struggle movies? Or would you like to see her popping up as Ms. Marvel in Avengers II. Or replacing Harrison Ford in Baltimore Jones and the Temple of Doom?
If you don't like Oprah and you don't plan on seeing black strife movies... This is a big win for you.
Imagine how the people that actually LIKE these movies feel. Imagine if you really liked martial arts movies, and Bill Gates decided that he was going to appear in every Kung Fu movie this side of China.
My heart goes out to the African American movie-goer that looks forward to these historical dramas, only to find that Oprah has inserted herself into yet another black film.

UL-Saban, I'm a black man and I really get tired of all these type of movies as well. But you can't compare black people in America to any of the European races. Indians and black people have faced a long road of discrimination in this country. Even Asians were discriminated against. Yes, there was a lot of conflict between the various European nationality. But a black person has never been able to blend in to this society without obviously being black. Maybe Oprah wants to remind our young people were we came from. She has the right to do it. But for you to be so obviously bother by it is asine.

I must have missed all of the threads you started about how angry you were that Jason Statham is in nothing but the same thing over and over.

Correction. It's suppose to be young people.

can she ever open her fat mouth without mentioning race?
the argument that black people are 10x more racist than white people is so true

No, because she's a racist bitch.

I am pretty sure I have heard Oprah speak on multiple occasions and not talk about race at all.
