I'm probably on the minority here but I really love his music...The throwback 50s and 60s crooner sound is fun to listen to. Tones of Elvis and orbison and the old sun sound. Any other fans?

I like him a lot.

In fact, I've seen him live twice. Once in an arena and once in a club. The guy and his band rock more than you'd think, btw. He's a talented artist.

Recently listened to a one hour interview with Chris Issac on Marc Marons podcast. The guy has an unexpected and fascinating life story. Where he came from, who raised him, and his journey from garage bands to headliner. Not what I expected. If you're a fan....check it out.

He's a passable actor, too - he did a good job as astronaut Ed White in From the Earth to the Moon on HBO.

He's one guy that sounds just as good on stage as in the studio. Hugely talented.

Wicked Game... How does he know so much about the most private part of my life?

His best work is ear candy, and his worst work is forgettable. San Francisco Days is his best album imho. I dig his commitment to paying homage to his influences; there are three of four of his songs in my rotation.
