What do you believe every American is entitled to?

Just curious what the people of TD believe each and American is entitled to, in addition to the basic rights outlined in the Constitution (freedom of speech, right to bear arms, protection from illegal searches and seizures etc). Clearly this is something that people have very different views on. For me I would say every American should always have these things:
Life- We should never let someone die because they cannot afford a life saving medical treatment. However I do not think we should provide treatments that will only extend a life by a few years. Likewise we should never let anyone starve to death, or die of thirst. I feel like everyone pretty much agrees on this.
Privacy- The government should not violated privacy of the individual by monitoring text messages, internet use, or phone calls, ever. Any form of law that attempts to ban or discourage a sexual act between two consenting adults should never exist.
Education- Every child should have the right to an education from kindergarten to high school. College is NOT something people are entitled to, and I think it's silly when people say "every American should go to college".
Equal opportunity, not equal outcome- Wealthy people should not be "punished" for being successful. People from poor backgrounds should be given enough help to the point where they CAN succeed if they work hard enough. Affirmative action is bullshite and should be immediately abolished.

Equal treatment under the law

They are entitled to an equal opportunity to make something of themselves. If they fail at that then it's not our job to subsidize them for food, clothes, shelter or healthcare.
They are entitled to the opportunity to get a high school education opening the doors to college if they work hard and make good grades.
They are entitled to safety from foreign invaders and threats, to live their lives free of fear from tyranny and destruction

Privacy
I certainly agree. interesting views by Justice Scalia on the matter though. Although he has often stood up against violations of the 4th amendment (illegal search and seizure, warrant issues, privacy concerns), he believes there is no constitutional right to privacy.
(for reference, USSC in 1965 in the birth control case, said there was in the bedroom)

So if somebody has failed to the point where they can't even feed themselves, we should just let them die?

Strongly disagree that education is a right.

Define "failed" here. I believe that, as a humane and civilized society, we are better than letting people starve in the streets.
I believe that we should have a strict and tightly monitored welfare program in place to assist those who truly need the help and are willing to use that help to improve their situation.
However, that is a product of how far we have been able to advance and develop as a society, and it should be given out of a common understood generosity of fellow citizens. It should NOT be perceived as or labeled as an entitlement.

And the policies of this nation seem to hurt this.

Oh, and while you're doing that, make sure you keep your rent, car, insurance, health insurance, gas, utilities and credit card bills current or your deadbeat arse will be kicked to the curb.
