How many truly genuine people do you know?

outside of your family, of course
I have 2 friends that I truly trust, and I can tell they care about the well-being of others. I find that a lot of people (including "friends") are fake and will throw you under the bus for their personal gain.

All of my friends. If I can't trust'em, don't need'em.

I'm the only one. Everybody else sucks and I tell them every chance I get.

Older people and generations have more because your interaction with people was done more face to face.
You got to know someone better and they got to know you better and it helped people become closer ad either chose to or not to remain close.
That being said, some of the most genuine, real, trustworthy people in my life I MIGHT speak to once a year.

Outside of family, three. I think if most people are honest, that is the "norm".

I would say one but I don't truly know myself. I'm very deep.

I would trust my best friend since we were 12 with my life.

I completely and utterly trust my wife. I also trust my son, but he's 2 .
That's about it.
That's about it.

Not many, less than 5 for sure

What do you mean by "genuine"? Are we talking people that say it like it is and call a spade a spade, or someone that you can trust?
I have a close group of friends that I've been running with since middle/high school that I trust and can count on if I really needed them, but now that we're older and they have wives and children those qualities are beginning to fade.
I have maybe one friend that I can honestly say would drop everything and come running to help if I called, even though he has a serious girlfriend and two kids. We have that connection because we've been through a lot of shite together and were literally in a gunfight together. Other than him, I have a few other really close friends but I think if it really came down to it, they'd pick their wives or girlfriends over coming to help me.

I am an older person and I can tell you that this is false.
People used to be terrible, people are terrible and people will continue to be terrible until we're all dead. Everything is shitty and it's never getting any better.
