LSU vs South Carolina 2012. Coming from Illinois and never attending a college football game I had no idea what to expect, but it was amazing. The atmosphere was electrical and not to mention we won the game!

LSU vs. Oregon State 2004. The game was delayed due to terrible rain and had people start running on the field and even some guy taking all his clothes off and streaking across the field. I remember at one point the rain got so bad that I couldn't see the other side of Tiger Stadium. Finally got to the game and LSU played terrible and the Oregon State kicker missed 3 extra points and LSU won 22-21

OCTOBER 1969, Auburn v LSU, My dad took me. He was the third generation of Auburn grads. My moms family went to Alabama. First play from scrimmage was a halfback pass by LSU for a touchdown. First play... I became an LSU fan right then and there. And LSU went on to win 21-20. My grandfather promised a Cadillac Convertible if I would enroll at Alabama. I enrolled at LSU and a week later he died suddenly... Thinking I would still end up with the Cadillac Convertible he had been driving around,I arrived for the funeral and found out he had traded the Caddy Convertible for a dang Chevy Nova... a week before he died... So I drove a Chevy Nova back from Birmingham to my dorm in Baton Rouge...

I honestly couldn't tell you the first game I attended since I was probably like 3 years old. The first one I have memories of being at was the Ohio State game in 1987.

LSU vs Kentucky, 1998. I was 16.
My neighbor took me, my little brother, and his son to the game. I had never been to a college football game bigger than at McNeese. When the old lady stood up behind me and yelled for the ref to "get his head out of his arse", I knew I wanted to go to school at LSU.
He passed away a few years later. He was a really nice man, and his son and I are pretty good friends. Not many LSU games since then have passed without me thinking about him. He introduced me to LSU football.

Oct 25 1969. LSU 21 Auburn 20. I was six but I remember riding up Airline Hwy with my Dad and the state trooper's son past the Snake Farm, Hopper's and Bluebird's and walking in the shell patking lot to the SEZ. It had to be the SEZ because the end zone was painted orange with blue letters.

Auburn 1993 Curse you Curley Hallman, I fell in love with stadium and fall Saturday nights in Death Valley but still to this day throw up in my mouth a little when Curley Hallman's name is mentioned!

1989 - LSU vs. Florida State. We lost 31-21, but I was hooked on LSU football because of the magical atmosphere I felt at Tiger Stadium that night. We sat behind the FSU band and I have hated that stupid war chant ever since. I was young and I assumed that FSU's band was full of idiots who couldn't learn more than one song.

If this happened today, there would be congressional committee assigned to see what the problem in sports is...

Nov 20, 1982....Risher and Company maul the Seminoles 55-21 in an fog enveloped Tiger Stadium to win an Orange Bowl birth. Watching the Oranges pepper the field at the end of the game was something I will never forgot. Sat in the farthest upper right corner seat of the upper deck.
That was my first game too. Hilliard a James were amazing to watch, and they were both Freshman.
