Phil

It's the only major he has never won and has been runner-up a record 6 times.. including last year.

Oooh, that's intriguing.

Graham McDowell. Poulter always in contention at the US Open. Westwood does well and finds a way to choke it on Sundays. Wildcard, Darren Clark.

I'm ashamed of myself that I laughed IRL at this.

Adam Scott.

The Euros traditionally don't play well at US opens and the rough will eat Bubba alive.

Needs to shake the Sunday nerves before I pick him in a major.

Speith or one of the Carolina guys: Webb Simpson or Bill Haas.

I narrowed it down to rory and phil but I picked phil. I know rory is probably "better", but he's the odds on favorite and I didn't want to just take the easy route. Plus it'd be cool to cheer for phil since I'm sure a ton of other people will be since he's finished 2nd so many times.

I did not get into the story, but Phil might be facing a little bit of a distraction right now involving the FBI.

Perhaps that has been resolved and I just haven't heard about it.

Edit: He really wants this U.S. Open title though so, who knows.
