It's going to be interesting to see what strategy McDaniel takes this week. I would suggest that he be conciliatory toward the Cochran voters and invite them to join the winning team. After all he needs these voters during the general election.

The most interesting component of the run-off to me will be to see whether or not the PACS and Chamber of Commerce continue to give monetary support to Cochran.
I think most believed, including myself, that Cochran would likely enjoy a fairly comfortable win last night.
With the Tea Party record in run-offs being strong, it will be interesting to see if those PACs decide to save their money for the late summer and fall for seats that will be net gains in the Senate and House.
I think McDaniel probably wins this thing now.
