Pretty much every study cited refers to what's given to kids under four.
I'm guessing by "you" you mean all the infants and toddlers reading the site.

Whole milk is only 3% fat, not like it's that much higher than 2% or skim
Posted on 5/24/14 at 11:21 pm to ZacAttack
2% and skim are vastly different.
On topic: what's important is that adults drinking whole over skim are making a damn poor choice. Paint it any way you want to, saturated fat is saturated fat.
It's like saying studies have proven diet coke can increase appetite, so I suppose drinking coke is a better alternative.

Well, heres the problem.
quote:
A central issue is what replaces saturated fat if someone reduces the amount of saturated fat in their diet. If it is replaced with refined starch or sugar, which are the largest sources of calories in the U.S. diet, then the risk of heart disease remains the same.
The study clearly says that when reducing saturated fats, humans replace it with something more deadly. Whole milk satisfies the appetite, which in the long run is the healthier choice

I agree 100%.
Plus, go find out what they have to do to make skim milk.

School lunch requirements are a joke.

Milk is meant to be consumed with cookies or cake, not to satisfy an appetite. Everything in moderation people.

have a lower BMI
Worthless
It's really simple. We already know everything we need to know about non health-related obesity. Eat well, get enough exercise to burn off what you eat, build healthy muscle. It truly requires no more study.

So just be smart, exercise enough, and eat some of the things that make life great.
Part of being "smart" is reading & parsing the countless evidence that the prime driver in the U.S.'s obesity epidemic has been the "low/no-fat" craze.
Cholesterol is absolutely misunderstood in this country and people STILL believe that fat content in the food they eat will be converted to fat in their bodies...when the truth is that dietary fat (animal fat, fat from nuts, etc.) will actually spur your body to efficiently burn the fat you already have stored.

Well....considering that recent two meta-analyses of studies pertaining to saturated fat and heart disease found no link to the amount of saturated fat consumed and a person's risk for CVD. LINK
Also, considering that diet sodas are linked to an increased risk of weight gain, type 2 diabetes, and and metabolic syndrome......you could make an argument for drinking regular soda over diet varieties. LINK

Umm...apparently it does require more study.
You're not gonna' exercise enough in a day to burn off what you eat unless A)you're running marathons or B)you're eating at a severe deficit. There's plenty of evidence to substantiate that exercise (either anaerobic/aerobic) doesn't burn a ton of calories unless it's done for hours upon hours.
How you eat controls what size you are. Exercise simply shapes that size.

I drink it when I can't find enough breast milk

If we are talking about a fat target group and their consumption of skim milk, you shouldn't be surprised to find out they do much worse than not drink whole milk.
If the baseline is the non-obese folks, them avoiding whole milk for a fat free option is better regardless of what a study targeting obese people says.
And for the UK study, the study simply states that for the relatively modest sample size, they can't draw any firm conclusions with sat fat and CVD........citing random studies doesn't make the point valid.

It wasnt a fat target group. It was 11,000 kids
Whole milk drinkers were slimmer

You should see what raw milk does for the body vs pasteurized.
Is agree though, whole milk or no milk.

So it's genetic differences in population that explains this?:[
