I am here for the summer and am just looking to see if any Austin residents and visitors have any solid input on where to go. I am in college, so I am targeting moderately priced restaurants like Trudy's, Hopdoddy's, etc. I can't hit up any steakhouses until the parents visit

I am not picky at all. Just want to cover as much ground as I can before August. Best Tex-Mex, BBQ, etc comes to mind over seafood because I can get the best in LA

eta: I am sure there is some great seafood in the city, but I am going to assume it is all very upscale and out of college prices

Home Slice Pizza, some of the best NY style pizza I've ever had. Pies are HUGE so a po' college kid will enjoy leftovers. Chuy's is pretty good too & cheap.

Some good recommendations. I'd try Juan in a Million too for a Sunday type breakfast

Quality Seafood on Airport blvd. is good, and after you can go drink at barfly's.
