I was watching it on the Tennis Channel and then I left and came back and it wasn't on anymore...
Why in the world did the Tennis Channel start showing an old replay instead??

I'm sure they only had the rights to show it up until a certain point. No way they would choose to switch over to a replay of a tune up over a live major semifinal.

So tempted to load up on Sharapova, I really think she handles Halep well and will run her in straights if she shows up for the 1st set which she hasn't been (Maria is 40-1 when she wins the first set). Experience, the better player when healthy, etc.
But on the flip side Halep plays a type of game that can expose Maria's lack of maneuverability on the Clay, her extreme and aggressive defensive style to get her opponent on the run, something Maria cannot do well with her size on Clay, is concerning.
This is such a coin flip, maybe I shouldn't bet much on it afterall. Idk, my gut tells me Maria is going to win. How can you confidently bet against someone that's almost as good as Rafa on clay? Which is insane to say, but true. Since 2012, Rafa has won 95% of his matches on clay, Maria has won 93%. She is 40-1 when winning the first set, and 19-3 in 3 setters at Roland Garros.
