I'm thinking about taking my 13 yr old son to see the Reds play the Cubs this summer. It'll probably be just me and him.

What are some kid friendly things to do there? I've never been to Chicago.

Thanks

agreed

if you must eat deep dish, the only two that are edible are Pequod's and Lou Malnati's. the others are terrible. def try an Italian beef sandwich at Portillo's (Big Al's is ****)

Catch a White Sox game. Don't linger in the neighborhood though.

Stroll around the beach. Lots of hotties.

Malnati's sauce was kinda sweet, but damn, that crust was so good.

I need to try Hot Doug's next time I'm there

Millennium park.
Natural history museum.
Architecture boat tour.
Sears (willis) tower, although I maintain it is a waste of time and money. I'd rather go to the top of the handcock building.

There are plenty things to do in chicago.

It's cool to say you've been there, but yeah, I liked the Hancock deck more.

-Museum of Science and Industry
-Gino's East for pizza (Giordano's is good too, but Gino's is more fun)
-Go by Soldier Field
-Navy Pier
-There's an LSU bar in Wrigleyville called The Dark Horse. There's also probably a bar for other SEC teams. Probably no UNO bar, though. The Alabama bar's The Houndstooth Saloon, I know.
-Make sure you take the El train to Wrigley. It's part of the experience

Have fun. Chicago is one of my favorite cities

You won't like it, but you will likely get mugged if you are walking on the street. Happened to me. Don't walk anywhere off of Michigan Avenue.
