bump for is there any way to not have to go through the whole level again after dying? beat the 2nd boss and made it a few more screens, died and had to go all the way back to the damn castle

Seems like the tunnels enemies are harder, I've gotten to 3.6km now and am a level 120 something, have the 2nd boss as a pet still, have been trudging through the top part and not the tunnels to get back, think a big trick is having the patience to put it down for a few min and let your health regenerate

I haven't gotten it yet but I do have quite a few others. I'm at the 2nd boss but I don't think I'm anywhere near where I'm supposed to be to beat him. I run up to him and swing like 4 times and miss 3 of those and then he gets his hit in and takes 80% of my life. At that pace I'll probably kill him next year sometime, if I don't screw up.

Check it's weakness and then grind some more and get an appropriate weapon to exploit its weakness. Also try out combos of pets that might give you recovery bonuses. I think the leek will also get you recovery bonus

So currently i am using the Shuriken and Ninja Armor.
It grants you like MachHit which lets you auto attack super fast. So far prolly the best combo i have found. I am lvl 108 with 3.4 KM travelled
