You called into Rome and he ran you (hung up on you), didn't he? lol. I am actually impressed with your insight there, but I think you have to understand sarcasm to really appreciate his show.

No, I would never call him, haha.

I actually enjoy sarcasm, but the art is to place it cleverly in doses. Spell insight, meaning, and wit with a bit of sarcasm.

Rome is over the top. Too obnoxious, just like tosh. I'm 30, and I just find people, usually the younger crowd, settle for superficial, unsatisfying and cheap entertainment.

Its junk food for the brain. Small doses man

And yet you have an account and post on TD?

Anyhow, ODJ couldn't make the interview.

Yeah, mostly on the lsurb, if you check your facts.

There are usually many more reasonable and mature posters on that board.

I pick my battles, I cannot eradicate ignorance, but I also don't always chose to ignore it

Yeah Rome is a douche. He trashes athletes then gets them on his show an kisses arse. Only one he didn't was JE and he was a complete jerk there. He had no right calling the man on his show another name that is a woman. Disrespectful

that was years ago .... give his show a chance , its very funny and different than anything out there ....

if you do not laugh while listening to his show then you have zero sense of humor ....
plus out of anyone out there he has the best interviews and its not even close ....well maybe DP....

Dude, women have been voting for less than a hundred years, human beings were slaves to other human beings, nonstop war...etc. if anything, people are growing up more. We're not without growing pains, though.

It's easy, with more access to information, to notice bad things but the truth is that will eventually help us all

Unfortunately, I hear him almost daily, as he is on during the day when I am on the road. I only really enjoy sports talk, so I have limited options. My opinions aren't easily formed, as I try To be objective and open.

I understand your perspective.

If you would just give it a real chance, you might see that we are still slaves, just with an illusion of choice.

Voting is a joke. When was the last time we had faith in our government, or any of our leaders?

Think of a building with two entrances, one left and one right. What if it doesn't matter which door you chose because they both lead to the same and only exit.

The only thing worse than tyrants, slavery and all this ugly past you spout on about, is the illusion of change.

When people can see their cage, at least they can will to break out. What's worse is convoluted truth contorted until you believe you live in the wild, but instead voluntarily chose to lock yourself in a cage.

The human spirit has never been in worse shape, and this extra information is a self inflicted poison.

I'm not without hope though. Most people who know me believe I am an optimist. I act through optimism, but learn and discover with realism.

I can understand everyone's addiction to the lies the world tells us. Ignorance is a much easier and more accepted path

It's apparent you took the red pill...

I'm glad to hear that sports, especially LSU related, allows you a brief escape from these capitalist bastards and the evil dark world they have created for us all.

If you took a cross section of his listening demographic you would get low income, special needs, loud shouting ignorant fans that pray their qb gets hurt when he throws his first interception so the second string can play and the winning head coach gets fired with the smallest mistake.

ha, ha, lol, roflmao, that's half of td!

Thanks for that waste. I got through about 6 minutes of it thinking "This is a guy who has never been able to do anything athletically. Probably tried every sport out there and failed at them. So he brought it upon himself to lambaste anyone who ever took an interest in sports." Which is something considering he made an entire career out of it.

I understand. The fact that you can see the bars is due to information. Technology is allowing our immature brains a magnifying glass. Just know that it is adversity that sparks evolution.

If the boatloads of info are poison, what is the end result? Its a subconscious desire to feel in an open and free state but the ego does its patriarchal bs and tries to maintain control. When it can't, it destroys itself.

Remember that through letting go and ego death can we go from being able to see the bars to the realization that we're inching slowly along to see that there are no bars. Its a paradoxical balance that shows that both are true and untrue depending on perspective.
