You forgot James Wright and Zach Metternberger. They were there, but didn't necessarily play per se

Rediculous how much talent was on those two teams.

20 defensive STARTERS in that game were drafted.
THINK ABOUT THAT

I wonder how this stacks up against USC/Texas 2005

laughing at the performance of the high draft picks for Bama and all the hype they and Bama got at the time and still get.
LSU produces more and better NFL talent, but don't expect college or NFL media to admit that.

I guess you missed that little article in the Wall Street Journal.

The only ones that are close are the miami-florida state game from 2000 and the ohio state-miami game from 2002 but still not even close.

frick man, we will NEVER see another season like 2011 and it just happened to coinencide with Bama's GOAT

the 9-6 game was one of the greatest games i have ever seen. some people may say it was boring but both teams were performing great on defense...two of the best college football teams of the past decade

It was the best game I have ever saw, I just heard Chad Blouin talk about this on his show. Said that if u include free agents the number was 53 total on teams. Incredible!

best two cfb teams in the last 10 years

I was there sitting in the middle of the Alabama fans. The best game I have ever seen at any level, live or TV. On most plays as the offensive team broke the huddle everyone went to their feet. Like fine cognac. Walking out of BDS it was like a tomb; tens of thousands coming down the ramp and only silence. Then you realized your voice was carrying a 100 people in any direction.
