Admittedly I put off doing stuff. I don't like to fold, or hang clothes, or put away some things, or make the bed. I do recognize it should be done, and I'll do it if you remind me (and I'll try to do it otherwise, but I'm a dude and it doesn't come naturally sometimes).

But the bed being made while I'm drinking coffee at 9:15 on a Sunday and in the middle of a show/article is not an emergency, we can do it the next time I get up, or we're about to leave, or whatever. As a comedian once put it, it's like something about an idle male just makes women go batshit crazy.

This. Yeah I forget to do little shite, but I'll get to it eventually. I don't mind the requests for me to do these things, just don't demand I do them immediately.

Also, it should work both ways. I'm usually the one who cleans the kitchen, so I request that she just help by at least rinsing the dishes. But of course, if I have to remind her of that, she has to remind me that I leave shite like shoes out and don't put them up.
