Now that we have concluded the draft and pretty much all our Off-Season moves, do you feel we did enough to hoist the Lombardi next season?

We nabbed two guys that should be immediate playmakers on both sides of the ball. One was the best Defensive Free Agent available and the other will stretch the field vs any team we play.

The rest, the jury will be out on for a while.

My two concerns are our O-Line and our play-calling predictability when playing from behind. Our D will be better which is a crazy thought considering how good they were last year.

So, what do yall think?

If the saints had played Seattle in NOLA they win that game, so yes

Well I think we win the Seattle playoff game if it wasn't a fricking monsoon the whole first half.

I think we will be better.

These moves didn't happen in a vacuum though, our rivals in the nfc got better too.

We'll see.

Yes. Jairus Byrd is the answer here. He'll have more of an impact than anyone we drafted - and I think Cooks will be very good for us as well.

Gotta get that running game going. Need some type of commitment to running the ball.

O-line improved last year with Armstead, who should only be improved this year. Until Lelito proves himself or Goodwin os re-signed, Center is a question mark.

While the defense was great last year, lack of turnovers killed us, and Byrd is one of the best in the league at creating turnovers.

I never did think we would look to replace Sproles and Moore, rather we would look to add new wrinkles like Cooks.

Tough to say really, but Cooks and Byrd are great additions not only for their respective positions but they each have skill sets that will allow those around them to make some more plays too.

Our weakness last year was consistent running game and receivers getting open. Against the better defenses, our WRs and TEs just could not get open.

And, we still could not make stops when we really needed to in pivotal moments. But, everyone has that problem, so that is not really what kept us from winning.

Receiver was our biggest issue.
