I'll be buying a house within 2 years, so that is something I've been thinking about lately. I may look more westward towards the Rue De Belier/ Ridge Road area.

That's what we call "neutral ground". I used median so the Lafayette folks would understand.

Really cool houses in the St Street area between the Cajundome and the university.
West Bayou Pkwy and the rest of the area behind Red's is pretty nice too.

Lafayette has a few nice neighborhoods. East Bayou Parkway and West Bayou Parkway are both nice. Fernwood and the Settlement both have some old money in them.

Bendel Gardens has some nice houses in the back towards the river.

The neighborhood behind the new Southside Bakery location? There's also a fairly new neighborhood on Rue de Belier.. forgot the road but it's right next to a pool place.
There are some nice houses there, but it's pretty close to the Acadiana High trash.

That's my reservation. I know I can go into Broussard/Youngsville like every other person in the city, but I've been looking at more "hidden" spots. The Zillow app is probably one of my favorite apps.

I agree. I know some people who live in the Twin Oaks neighborhood. It's a really nice place. There are several Frank Loyd Wright designed houses on that street as well as the house used in the movie "Secretariat"...the more you know...

Probably got to use her face as a cum rag.

I don't know your budget, but I like the older cool neighborhoods.

Fernwood, east bayou area, some of the spots they mentioned.
Bunch of random neighborhoods if you drive around.
Le triomphe could be an option for a golfer and southside area. Good friend just built a badass house in there.

I don't really know my budget yet, either. I'm not that far along in the process. I really like the Saint streets, too. I'd rather an older house with some character rather than the cookie-cutter McMansion thing out in Youngsville.

They're apparently building another one in "Upper Lafayette".
Couret Place, will be nothing like RR or Sugarmill pond, but similar concept, this one's centered around the Couret House, I think the house will be like a park, can't remember if there will be any shops.

Figured you'd be moving up to Shreve to put a ring on Beefs finger bro.

Lafayette's a great place and there's lots of older (60s & 70s era) houses available if you're willing to pay for them. I was hoping to get hired out there, but the only job offers I got were in BR and Houston, so no dice.

No doubt.

Yeah, you're probably rich AF so you'll be ok.
It's hard to get a house in the St Streets, people live there until they die.
