Depends on the incentives, but I think anywhere from $7500 to $10000 off is what they were selling a few months back. Have you researched Edmunds "TMV" or other street prices?
Have they quoted you a price below MSRP, yet?

yeah, ive looked at true car and different sites.
wanting to get it for less than 30k, wondering if anyone here has bought one recently and what they paid

For comparison, I bought back in February:
2013 F150 FX4
Stickered at $50,250
Sold to me at $39,000.

(I assume before TTL, right?)
Heck - offer them $28500.
When they get antsy - make your final offer at $29900. If they say anything other than "deal" - get up and walk out. They'll stop you or call you later.

Find the truck you want on Mac haik's website
Their internet price is about as low as it gets
Use it as leverage or drive to Houston and pick one up

If you look on Max Haik's site, those with a MSRP at $40K are going for right at $30K. So a $28K offer would be a starting point.

If you can wait a few months the new style 2015's will be hitting the dealerships and you should be able to get a smoking deal on old model14.

I bought a 2013 loaded out FX4 at the end of Feb. it didn't make since to buy a 2014 when there weren't any significant differences. I was able to haggle about 11,500 off the sticker on mine. They also gave me full trade value on my suburban.

Pay less than invoice for sure. Invoice prices are BS that make you think you got a great deal if you're "only $200 over invoice."
