Heard him for the first time today and really like his sound. What are his best songs/albums?

Pretty positive he only has the one album and one EP. Look up the videos from him at Eric Claption's Crossroads Festival. The kid can shred face

He's great live. His studio album has a mix of R&B and blues.

Pick up the Gary Clark Jr EP, which I believe are earlier versions of some songs later released on Blak and Blu, which you'll want as well.
There is also the Bright Lights EP, which has a couple live songs on it in addition to two studio cuts. He has an older album called Worry No More as well.
all good music

Ended up finding the following on a torrent site
Blak and Blu
Blues at the Bowl
Bright Lights EP
Gary Clark Jr. EP
iTunes Session
Plus a Blak and Blu mixtape from a mixtape site I frequent. I've got a lot to listen to at work this weekend

Saw him in Lafayette a few years ago. I had been listening to his music before, but when I saw him live, he blew me away.
He kills it live!

Been listening to him for years. First time I got to see him was back in 2009 when he opened for Derek Trucks here in Houston at the HOB. My dad had been staying with me as he was battling cancer, and told me that day he wanted to go to the show with me. He went even though he had to stand most of the time. After Gary opened, my dad said, man that guy is good, he is going to be a star. When Derek started playing, looked to my left and Gary was standing there. Got to say hi and thank him for a great set. That was my dad's last concert to go to, but great way to go out.
