I haven't caught a warmouth in years, but that is my rod.
Also, where can I get a good deal on some truck nutz?

I caught probably 50 warmouth last weekend with a roadrunner on an ultralight. Two or three bass that were a little big for me with that tackle, probably because I suck at fishing.

They're the same as any other bream, just less meat proportional to size. They're shaped more like bass than most bream

caught a few last weekend in Spring Bayou. They seem to haunt every cypress tree, one per. I always throw them back, but have eaten them beofre. No diff than a bream.

quote:True dat. They usually take it on the way down too. Very aggressive lil bastards. I've never caught many at a time but have caught some big ones here or there on any given trip for bream.

Mushy is about the best thing I can say about them. I no longer keep, even when keeping bream.
