and really didn't need him. He stuck with MSU after they were on him for awhile and recruited him hard. Can't blame him for that.

This is not true at all.

Even the people on this board were unsure of Dak. He had a lot of potential, but he was verrrry raw.

You can't even say that if he were at another school you would even be hearing about him. MSU was a great opportunity for him to go in and get some PT from the get go. He wouldn't have gotten that here or most other schools.

Hindsight is always 20/20.

Really makes one wonder as to how Les stuck with Stud as his OC for two years with no QB coach.

LSU slowplayed him too long and when LSU finally came to the table MSU was still his choice, I can respect that.

Stud was the official OC for a while, doesnt mean he did much.

Krags is diagnosed. Stud gets job in name. Most likely a concerted effort between all offensive coaches. We have best offensive production in 4 years. We keep it the same, we struggle, we hire Cameron. That is usually how things go. And if you can't understand that, you are a moron.

Not sure, but I did read somewhere that Dak Prescott told Brandon Harris to go where he felt most comfortable, which was obviously LSU. The quote seemed like Prescott kind of wished he went to LSU. I could be wrong though. It's been a year since I read the article

Prescott would not have as much experience as he has now as compared to if he sat behind Mett, but I certainly would like to have him here.

Dak wanted an LSU offer and got one but not until late in the process. By that time he had grown to love Mullen and realized their offense was better suited for his talents. His mom and my father grew up together in the same podunk town in SW Lousiana, God rest her soul.

We thought eh this guy is good enough for a late offer.

MSU thought, this guy could be Tebow lite, thats the best well ever do.

MSU had him camp and didnt think much of his arm or speed. However, they had him again where they evaluate more of the competitor and where blown away by his compettiveness and leadership and offered. LSU waited until last minute with an offer, and although his mom wanted LSU he told her he had given his word to MSU.

I watched him at Haughton and wanted LSU to get him. Think Jacob Hester as a QB and its Dak. Im worried about that game this year.

Les offered and took a commitment from Steven Rivers early and tried to get Dak at the last minute with an offer in December (he was a dec HS grad) but it was too late and he signed with State.
