I thought that was only within the power of god(s).

Or maybe I'm reading the article wrong?

Too bad you have to troll with a very cool biological innovation such as this.

Just realize faith is a gift. You don't have it. Stop being jelly.

As someone who denies the need for a creator, you're a dumbass.

Meh, on second reading it looks like the scientists merely added two new chemicals to the usual millions of A, T, C, G pairs.

Definitely reading it wrong.

Naturally occurring DNA consists of 4 main nucleotides (with some variations):

Adenine
Guanine
Thymine
Cytosine

And Uracil for RNA.

They created artificial nucleotides that still allowed for the survival of the cells. This didn't create life, they created nucleotides that cells could use to maintain survival and perform other interesting functions such as biological markers or cancer treatments.

Yeah, I went back to read it again because it sounded too outlandish to create life without the usual DNA.

Thanks.

Definitely. This could be groundbreaking as far as treatments and diagnostic techniques are concerned.

Are you defining this as life?

Wow, let me get this straight. Someone from the huffinton post 4 million years ago created life?

Could he actually see in the dark or did he create light first, and did he have to flost around the universe before he thought of creating life? This sounds like an Al Gore moment. How old is he? This is interesting at least.
