Nah but I'm waiting to see how many I struck
I just don't mind sun, and don't want anything extra sticking up on a boat I'm gonna be casting 7'+ rods with a couple other people all day. Offshore it's nice, blocks sun, extra storage and rod holders, throw bean bags on top, etc. And you're not casting so there's nothing to worry about there.

Half a day or more?
Same as when I bass fish I'd assume. I haven't been a whole lot so I don't know what a typical trip is

60k can get you a lot. Especially if you buy used.
22' Blackjacks are great boats in that price range. I really like pathfinders as well. If you're just getting into it and don't need top of the line, you can definitely get a good boat at the 35k range very slightly used.

You must have darker skin than I do, but I am a big fan of having the shade on the boat.
I only asked because you're usually on the boat a lot longer offshore (obviously), but I've had some all day trips in the marsh and the shade is awesome.

I couldn't live without the t-top. The curtains we drop during storms are awesome also.

Save yourself a lot money and find a lightly used boat. All the ones mentioned are good. For the kind of cash you're talking you could find a really nice yellowfin, canyon bay, or shearwater as well.

I really like the look of the 21' Hybrid Yellowfin, but at those price tags, I'll stick to looking. I just can't see paying those prices for a bay boat. Maybe one day I'll be rich and will think differntly, but 70k for those types of boats just isn't worth it to me.

24' pathfinder. That's what I have and it is awesome. Rides great and dry. Layout is fantastic and its a good looking boat. I looked at the new ones the other day and they are bad arse. Added all kind of cool stuff.

Yellowfins, pathfinders, skeeters, and champions are top of the line bay boats. Ive fished pathfinders my whole life and have spent quite abit of time on skeeters and yellowfin. Brand new they might be over your price range, but you could find a used one. Look for a fishing guide selling a boat. You can usually get them cheap due to the amount of hours on the boat, but you know everythig on the boat was takin good care of.

Everything still works fine just like it should from day one. The only issue I have ever had was this year after the boat sat for 5 months, I wasn't getting max RPM out of my motor. At the recommendation of many kind gentlemen on here, I am changing out the fuel lines which are most likely the problem as we ran some ethanol fuel through it a few times and it sat with ethanol fuel in the lines for that timeframe.
TLDR: 10 or less and your fine if its been treated well. Don't use ethanol fuel ever.

If I'm looking for a very good condition newer boat, under 200 hours wouldn't bother me. But you can easily find boats with waaaaaaay less that have that new boat price tag knocked off. I found my boat with 32 hours on it and a year and a half left on the warranty.
