MJ played against better conference competition as well.
Go ahead and argue that you LBJ knob slobbers.

How can you argue a guy who doesn't even have half as many rings as MJ is better?
Lebron at this moment isn't even top five.

Early on maybe. Jordan's last three titles the east was pretty weak, can you remember any of those series or players other than Indiana in 98? And again if you're gonna go just rings then why isn't Bill Russell or John Havlicek or Robert fricking horry the best player of all time?

I agree as to the overall competition.

So, not irrationally hating LBJ = knob slobber? Got it.

It isn't just rings, but that is a benchmark.
Jordan was flawless in the finals. Carries a lot of weight.
Plus lead his team to a 72-10 record. Heat can't beat a titanic sinking team to the first seed. (Although I have been informed that the heat "really didn't want it anyway")

No. The two proclaiming he unseated Jordan already are the knob slobbers. That is like crowning Crosby better than Gretzky

Not a great comparison, but I hear what you're saying.

I think you have it backwards. The 90s may have had more "elite" players, but the overall competition is far, far better today than it ever was in Jordan's day.
FWIW, this same argument holds true with Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. Jack played against more high end players, but Tiger plays/played against much deeper fields.

How many of the NBA's top 10 players of all-time played for more than 1 team?
I can think of five right off the bat. Kareem, Wilt, Oscar Robertson, MJ and Shaq.
Idiot.

Barkley (3 teams) and Drexler (2 teams) are another pair although Drexler won a title in Houston while Chuck didn't.
Is Kobe great because he stayed with the Lakers after forcing them into mediocrity because of his ego?
Malone and Payton went to the Lakers towards the end at major discounts, and if I recall Payton also went to Miami to win his championship in 2006.
Alonzo Mourning is a POS apparently too.
This guy is an idiot if he thinks that despite the fact that the free agency changes that the occurred in 1987 that eliminated the teams' rights of first refusal of players allowed great players to switch teams outside of via trade.
There wasn't true free agency in the NBA until that time, which makes his argument even worse.

This is one of the worst performances In a thread I've ever seen. You should be fricking embarrassed, bro.

I like how some people on here don't use facts/stats to argue their point. They just say shut up or you're an idiot. I said SOME not all.
Don't say I didn't use facts/stats just go look on the first or second page.

He said that he lost it, because his mother and him had power when he was in high school and didn't have to sit in the dark and cry.

Who the frick was going to join him in Cleveland? Name one high profile free agent that ever bolted for Cleveland.

Embarrassed because the only response from people was that "the heat didn't want the one seed" and "lebron has unseated Jordan" even without half the rings as Jordan and without a flawless finals record?

Who should he feel loyalty towards? The team that drafts him? Are you advocating that players should never leave the team that drafts them, because of loyalty?
This is hilarious.
Kids these days have no loyalty. Me and my boy ptp are going to be working at the local McDonald's until the day we retire because that's the franchise that gave us a chance.
