Thanks. I notice you didn't comment on the projected cost per cadet or in total to hold the academy.
Have you forgotten what was happening to sales tax collections and property values resulting from the 2008 recession?
You act like Holden just decided to not hold academies because he forgot about it or decided that crime wasn't bad.

Wrong thread for this buddy, but show me where we had a declining city budget or that we weren't spending millions on fountains , plazas or a stage during that period.
The truth is the police dept. was not as high a priority as some other projects and that was my beef.
Three years and no academy ???? Come on buddy, we could have afforded it if Kip had wanted it .
