I passed by there recently on the way to somewhere else, and they've come a long way as far as the size of the campus is concerned. Still, it's not anywhere near other campuses in Louisiana.

my mom was a professor at Nicholls, so i spent a lot of my summers growing up on that campus when i was really young… and from that experience, even at that age i knew i would never want to go to there as a student...

being 15 minutes away from mom and dad while going to college was a no go too… frick that shite…

Was that the only reason you didn't go there?

Girl from my HS went there. She was very popular in HS and nobody else went there, so I found it weird that she went.. but as far as I know, she loved it.

Loved my time there! "The Goose" was the place to be when I was there.

but the "too close for comfort" factor, in relation to my really close friends played a part… i knew if i stayed on the bayou, i wouldn't really give college the effort it demands… i would have basically re-done my senior year of HS, playing pedro and drinking all the damn time…

. IIRC, they make you work either 7/7 or 14/14 while you are in school

It's tailored towards folks working a 7/7 schedule but it's not mandatory or anything.

It's kinda small. Thibodaux is a blast. Not far from the coast. Bayou Black is close.

Ain't nothing wrong with it.

And being that your name is warhawkalum and you're a ULM fan, I'm assuming you went to ULM, so if you're trying to make fun of Nicholls you REALLY have no room to talk.
